位於日本滋賀縣信樂環繞豐富自然美景的山中,秀明建造了MIHO美術館。美術館於1977年11月開幕,自此後吸引了來自世界各地的遊客到此偏遠地區。美術館的設計者是以巴黎羅浮宮的玻璃金字塔等作品而聞名的建築師貝聿銘先生。建築本身以藝術和美感為基礎,進而在2018年被選為路易威登時裝秀的場地。

Ikebana Flower Arranging Class – Shinsei Style-

Shumei America promotes Ikebana flower arrangement classes by certified instructors of Shinsei school. The Shinsei school of ikebana was developed in 1927 by founder Suidō Yamane.
This style abandons all traditional conventions of ikebana, and was developed with the assertion that “in addition to being an art, true ikebana is the flower in its free and natural state.”

Shumei America Tea ceremony -Mushanokouji-senke School-

Shumei America promotes Tea Ceremony of Mushanokouji-senke school. Mushanokouji is one of three tea ceremony schools descending from the 16th century monk Sennorikyu. Preparing tea in this ceremony means pouring all one’s attention into the predefined movements. The whole process is not about drinking tea, but is about aesthetics, preparing a bowl of tea from one’s heart.
